Modes - Alert, Search & Auto-book

Rocket Relay works in three modes. Pick one in the Rocket controls, set your options, and press Start.

  • Alert tells you when a new trip is posted.
  • Search highlights the trips that match your filters.
  • Auto-book books the matching trips for you.

The big thing to know: Rocket only books a trip when you choose Auto-book and press Start, or when you click FastBook yourself. Alert and Search never book anything.

Alert mode

Choose Alert and press Start. Rocket refreshes the loadboard for you and plays a sound the second a new trip is posted (or when a trip’s price goes up past the amount you set). New trips are highlighted so they are easy to spot.

This is the free way to stay on top of the board without staring at it. Leave the tab open, keep working, and let the sound get your attention. You can change the refresh speed and the price-change amount in Settings.

Use it when: you want a heads-up on new freight but still want to book by hand.

Search mode

In Search, Rocket refreshes the board and highlights every trip that matches your filters as it appears, with a running match count in the browser tab’s title. Nothing is booked.

Use Search as your sandbox. The matching trips stay visible on the loadboard, so Search is the best way to learn how your filters behave: change a filter, watch which of the trips on the board light up, and keep adjusting until Rocket is catching exactly the freight you want. Once your filters feel right in Search, switch to Auto-book with confidence — same filters, now it books for you.

From any highlighted trip, you can book in one click with FastBook.

Use it when: you want Rocket to surface the right loads, but you want the final click.

Auto-book mode

Auto-book uses the same filters as Search, plus a Quantity field for how many trips you want. Set Quantity to 2 and Rocket books up to two matching trips, then stops.

When a trip meets all your filters and you still have quantity left, Rocket books it for you and lets you know with a sound. If two trips match at once, it goes for the best-paying one first, and moves to the next if that one is already taken. A small random delay keeps the timing natural.

Use it when: you know the loads you want and you would rather not watch the screen at all.

Which filters apply?

Alert mode watches for any new trip, so it does not use filters. Search and Auto-book use the full set: max departure time, start-within window, max duration, min and max distance, stem time, max deadhead, max stops, min payout, min price per mile, and the location filter. See Filters for what each one does.
